The Eden 10.4" Rugged Tablet PC V1 is a compact, rugged, sunlight readable mobile tablet computer designed for harsh environments. The Eden 10.4" Rugged Tablet PC V1 is ideal for public service departments, military, marine, transportation, factory use as well as medical / hospital applications. The system can also be vehicle mounted using any standard VESA 75mm mounting unit or universal tablet pc "gripping" mount. This makes this Rugged Tablet a phenomenal solution for installation into police cars, ambulances and fire trucks. The sunlight readable touch screen display and integrated lithium ion battery enable it to be used on the go in an outdoor environment with ease.

The Eden 10.4" Rugged Tablet PC V1 features an Alum-Mg alloy enclosure with corner mounted rubber dampers to protect it from shock in the case it is ever dropped. The system itself is powered by a 1.6ghz Intel Atom CPU and features an active heat pipe cooling system which distributes the heat across the back of the unit. The Eden 10.4" Rugged Tablet PC V1 also features integrated 802.11b/g WiFi and Bluetooth modules to allow you to easily connect to wireless networks and Bluetooth devices without the need for external hardware. In the case that a wireless internet connection in a non WiFi enabled area is required, the unit has an integrated PCMCIA slot to allow the addition of wireless modems and other third party devices.

For permanent fixed mount vehicle installations, the protective rubber corner dampers and carrying handle can be easily removed to allow for a lower profile vehicle installation.
